Christmas Concert

Peterborough Cathedral

Peterborough Cathedral Choir, Youth Choir and Festival Chorus will present a programme which includes Britten 'A Ceremony of Carols', accompanied on the harp and performed by candlelight. The concert will include other well-known seasonal favourites, and familiar carols for the audience to join in with. The concert will be conducted by Tansy Castledine, the Cathedral’s Director of Music.

Winter Solstice Walk

Stanwick Lakes

5.30pm - 7.30pm. Wrap up warm, bring a lantern or your own torch and celebrate the shortest day of the year with us. A truly magical family event. Follow us around our Visitor Centre lake, be greeted by a special guest before heading to the Outdoor Theatre for carol singing with the Raunds Temperance Band and Big About Singing Choir. Then head back to the Visitor Centre for warming drinks and festive treats.

Candlelit Tour

Peterborough Cathedral is beautiful in daylight, but even more so by candlelight. Enjoy this atmospheric after-hours tour with one of our trained guides. Ticket price includes a glass of wine and soft drink after the tour. Ticket Prices Standard (£ 15.00), Concession (£ 12.00).

RSPB Family Bird Walk

Stanwick Lakes

Join local RSPB volunteers for a bird walk to learn about the resident and migrant birds found in and around Stanwick Lakes. Meet outside the Rangers Cabin at 10am. If you own binoculars please bring them, if not there may be some available to use thanks to the RSPB volunteers. Tickets cost £2.50 for adults, £1.50 for children.
