Birding Bonanza!

10am - 4pm. £3 per child.Rushden Lakes Visitor Centre. Drop in session - no need to book. Drop in to our brand new Rushden Lakes Visitor Centre to join in with a variety of bird themed activities, make a bird kite to ‘fly’ around our nature trail, take a homemade bird feeder for your garden or balcony and discover the variety of bird life at the Nene Wetlands using our binoculars, telescopes and hidden wildlife cameras. Little Bug Hunt

10.30am – 12noon. £6pp. Calling all ‘Wildlife Detectives’, search our wildlife discovery area for all kinds of bugs and beasties then join us back at the visitor centre to make a minibeast to take home. All equipment and resources provided for all budding young David Attenboroughs! Come dressed for the outdoors.
