Nene Park is pleased to announce a new residency and development opportunity for artists, supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

We are inviting both early career artists and experienced artists working within visual art, performance, music, digital, spoken word or cross arts disciplines, and based in the East region, to apply for either our two associate artist residencies or our Lead Artist residency, as part of Nene Park’s ParkArt Foundations residency programme.

Based within the beautiful and diverse landscape of Nene Park, the artists will work within this unique and inspiring setting, have the opportunity to develop new work in response to the Park and will produce and lead a public engagement event or activity. The Lead Artist will also support the two early career artists (Associate Artists) to develop new work in response to the Park and lead public engagement events. All three artists will have access to shared workspaces, a wood workshop, and the 697 hectare site. The residency will take place between April and August 2020.

ParkArt Foundations residency programme provides one established artist (Lead Artist) and two early career artists with a 16 week residency (2.5 days a week). The residencies will take place from April 2020 to August 2020 and are open to artists working within visual art, performance, music, digital, spoken word or cross arts disciplines.

We’re excited to see who applies for these posts and what ideas they bring to the Park. Keep your eyes out for news and updates over the next couple of months and look out for our artists in the Park from April 2020.
