Each day throughout the festival we will post daily highlights of some of the key events happening across the festival – both here on the blog and in our podcast feeds as well…
Day six of the Nene Valley offers a range of options for anyone looking to enjoy the sunshine and get outdoors to enjoy the last of this wonderful summer:
- Wild Tots returns to the Nene Wetlands at Rushden Lakes. Run by qualified Forest School Leaders in our education area, Wild Tots encourages child-led exploration of the natural world. The sessions starts at 10am.
- Did you know that regular walking: improves blood pressure, eases stress & burns fat faster? Why not join us for a health walk around Stanwick Lakes! Meet at the Visitor Centre for 10am and join in a regular health walk of approximately 45 minutes. A great way to meet new people and be active!
- Anyone looking for musical entertainment this evening might want to pop along to the Key Theatre in Peterborough where Voodoo Room bring the Music of Hendrix, Clapton & Cream to life from 730pm
- Meanwhile, anyone really enjoying the sunshine and feeling brave enough for a quick swim might want to head along to Sywell Country Park who continue to offer outdoor swimming sessions. These managed sessions are a great opportunity to swim outdoors in the stunning setting of Sywell Country Park, sessions are open from 8-10 each day!
