Well after an action packed weekend that saw visitors flock to events all over the area – from Northampton to Peterborough – the Nene Valley Festival continues with another action packed day for Monday September 16th…

  • Jeyes of Earls Barton open their doors for guided tours as part of Heritage Open Days. Entry is free and more information can be found here.
  • The All Aboard for Rushden trail is still open and accessible for you to bring your smartphone or tablet and scan for a range of unique installations and exhibits. Visit the greenway between High St and Crown Way. More details can be found here.
  • Happily Hooked Crochet Club convene at Stanwick Lakes for their latest event – be sure to pop along to tryout hand at this craft for the first time
  • Meanwhile there is an excellent guided tour of Wellingborough taking place as well. Starting at Wellingborough Museum. Revisit the historic shops which used to be in the town centre, Wellingborough’s market and the parish church.Tour begins at 1030 am!
