Evening River Paddle and Bat Spotting Walk

Canoes will depart Canoe2’s base at Rushden Lakes. After a peaceful early evening paddle on the River Nene you will be met back at Rushden Lakes by your Wildlife Trust experts just as the bats are starting to come out. You’ll then be taken on a guided walk of the Nature Reserve as dusk settles. Everyone will have the opportunity to use a bat detector which picks up the ultrasonic frequencies used by bats as they hunt. The event will finish by 9.45pm. Tel: 01933 522 223.
2019 Prices now confirmed the same as 2018 prices:
2-Person Canoe = £55
3-Person Canoe = £70
4-Person Canoe = £75 (suitable for 2 adults with 2 children aged 5 to 10 yrs).
Please note that, as per all Canoe2 canoe hire trips, you will receive a full Safety Briefing and Paddle Demonstration before setting off in your canoe, so you will be well prepared. Canoe Trips are not escorted on the river.
