Group dog walking event with Qualified Behaviour Consultant – Nathan Watson

Approx. 90 minute dog walk around Northampton Washlands for dog owners to connect with other like-minded dog owners and their dogs. The aim of this walk is to educate dog owners about the environmental pressures faced by the Special Protection Areas along the Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits. We hope to encourage positive dog ownership in a fun and friendly manner so that both our furry and feathered friends can enjoy these environments in harmony. This is a free event, funded by the SPA mitigation group, working in partnership with Nenescape Landscape Partnership Scheme. To find out more about this initiative, please visit: nenevalley.net/spa
Please note that unfortunately this is not an accessible walk and is therefore not wheelchair/pushchair friendly as the route is largely on grass, and includes a bridge with steps and a narrow path.
Polite notice:
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the event begins to ensure prompt start.
- All dogs must be fine to socialise with other dogs.
- All dogs must be kept on leads.
- No extendable leads allowed, even if kept short.
