“Medieval Gardens, including the Monastery Garden”

website maker This is an invitation to join us for an illustrated talk by Michael Brown.
The talk begins at 2 pm in the visitor centre but Michael will be in our heritage garden to show you around from 1 pm and you can also get refreshments from our cafe.
The event is free, but admission is by ticket only. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Standard car parking fees will apply.
Michael will lead you through a medieval garden, explaining the garden features, uses of the garden and some of the plants.
The practical uses of plants from the medieval period, some of the plants are still in use today, include medical, culinary and cosmetic but also some of the more unexpected uses such as lighting.
