This best loved story of star crossed lovers and feuding families shall be performed at the Chester House Estate and promises to be one of the most sought after events of the open air season. Dressed in beautiful Elizabethan costume and performed by a fine troupe of Shakespearean players join Chapterhouse for the greatest love story ever told as we perform magical theatre in magical surroundings.

The stage is set beside the 17th Century Farmhouse with plenty of room to set up your picnic blankets and low-backed chairs on. Please note the event will continue even if the weather is wet so please ensure you come prepared.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic but you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol, this will be removed on entry. Hot and cold food will be available on the night. The Chester House fully licenced bar will also be open. Please ensure ID is brought along with you to purchase.
