Sessions House Tours

10 September @ 10:00 am - 11 September @ 5:00 pm

Seize your opportunity to take a look around the county’s most significant building with an expert tour guide.

This superb Grade I listed building, of international significance, was built immediately after the 1675 fire of Northampton and retains much of its original appearance and features.
See the full-length Royal portraits, hear about its construction and marvel at the incredible plaster ceilings.

And if that’s not enough, follow the thought-provoking journey of the condemned from court to gaol and if you’re (un)lucky their place of execution.

This tour involves going up and down steep steps and uneven floors and may not be suitable for those with impaired mobility.
