The Nature Olympics

This self-led event includes fun sporting challenges using various play equipment around our site, nature related hidden questions and a nature related scavenger hunt. Unleash your sporting talents whilst discovering the sports stars of Stanwick Lakes! £2.75 per activity leaflet.
To celebrate the Olympics 2021 in Tokyo and our Natureworks project, we have created The Nature Olympics here at Stanwick Lakes! Running from 24th July – 8th August.
WIN a GOLD medal by completing fun sporting challenges around 5 different areas of the beautiful site, in this self-led event, plus fun activities to get you close to nature! Complete 3 out of the 5 areas.
No booking required. The activity leaflet costs £2.75 and is available from the Visitor Centre Reception or the Snack Shack Take Away. The site is open until 8pm, however please be aware the Visitor Centre is open 10am – 5pm meaning medals can only be collected during these times. (One medal for each leaflet sold).
The ‘Natureworks’ project celebrates and supports nature bringing it centre stage at Stanwick Lakes. It has been made possible thanks to a grant of £128,000 from the government’s £80 million Green Recovery Challenge Fund.
