Have you ever wanted to learn the traditional craft of Wood Carving? This 2 day course is suitable for those just starting out and also for carvers who would like to develop their skills further. For beginners you will start with the introduction of the tools and techniques and materials used for making a wood carving by hand. This will be followed by a small carving project to become familiar with the basic skills. After covering the basics you will move on to a new project that involves creating a larger relief carving.

For the more experienced carvers the course is an opportunity to work under the guidance of Pete Schwartz who will help you develop your skills further. You are welcome to bring a project already in progress which you can work on over the 2 days.
