Janusz Piotrowicz: Chopin Recital

Janusz Piotrowicz, conductor, pianist and Prizewinner of the Warsaw International Chopin Competition, performs pieces by the 19th century Romantic composer in a fundraising concert for Peterborough Cathedral and The World Trust.

Janusz Piotrowicz’s performances are renowned for clarity and intensity and unique depth of sound. He has toured in Denmark, Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, Canada, the USA, Hong Kong, Australia, NZ, Southern Africa, and throughout the UK, receiving the highest critical acclaim.

Janusz has conducted the Hallé, Royal Philharmonic and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras, the London Mozart Players, Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Orchestra of Opera North. He is Founder of L’Orchestre du Monde – World Virtuosi, which he has conducted in iconic works such as the Bach B minor Mass at the Royal Albert Hall and the symphonies of Beethoven, Brahms and Schubert at Cadogan Hall London. Janusz is Founder and Artistic Director of Ripon International Festival now in its 22nd year.  www.lodm.org     www.riponinternationalfestival.com
