Mary Hart – Special Moments Through Travel and Stitch

Mary Hart returns to 78 Derngate with her second solo exhibition of textile art. She is inspired by the texture, architecture and landscapes she sees, both at home and on travels around the globe. Mary's multi-layered artworks use different fabrics, stitching, dyeing, beading and many other techniques to achieve the desired result of her inspiration. Works in the exhibition are for sale and a selection of cards will be available to purchase too.

Hoards: A Hidden History of Ancient Britain

Peterborough City Christmas Market

Peterborough Cathedral Square - 16 November @ 9:00 am - 28 December @ 5:00 pm

The Cathedral is participating in the City's Christmas Market this year, with traditional market stalls on Cathedral Green joining those in the city centre. There will be gift ideas, alpine chalets and Yuletide food and drink outlets, so come along and experience Christmas in a beautiful setting. The stalls will be open daily. Closing times are Sunday mornings until 12.00 noon, and on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.  

Pippi Longstocking

Road Training Ride

A cycle ride on flattish roads around Oundle. Great introduction to riding as a group on roads. Riding on fairly quiet country roads. Stopping for coffee and cake on the route. Please bring your own bike and a helmet along with a drink and any snacks you wish to munch on along the way.

On each of our Festive Sundays in December and throughout the school Christmas holiday, we have a special trail with a festive themed prize at the end for everyone. Pick up a trail sheet at the Visitor Centre and Gift Shop for just 50p and remember to return to claim your prize! No need to book.

Join Wreath maker and expert florist David, to make your very own Christmas Wreath at this two hour workshop. Using a mix of fresh materials and added decorations, you can create your own bespoke wreath to take home and decorate your house this Christmas. All materials provided. Suitable for age 16 and over, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Spaces are limited so early booking is recommended. £25.00 per person.
