Walking for Health – Woodford

Starting at Tiggywinkles Tearoom, we depart at 9.30am for an even paced walk lasting up to 60 minutes, although we can adjust the route to suit the participants. Our walks are designed for people to use walking as a way of improving and maintaining their health. Thrapston Guided History Walks – Thrapston was a thriving Saxon community – then the Normans arrived

The walk will start from outside St James Church Hall and include the Bull Ring and Chancery Lane. This is a free event but booking is essential. The walk will be approximately 90 minutes in duration and will be on pavements. The walk will be led by Neil Busby, Thrapston Heritage. Your ticket will be emailed to you.

Bat Walk

A pipistrelle bat can eat over 3000 insects in one night, which makes them very useful to farmers who are worried about insects damaging their crops. We’ve invited Antony from the Cambridgeshire Bat Group to come and lead a walk around the farm to see which species of bat we have living here.
