This exhibition presents a selection of objects from the Museum, all of which are hiding a secret. Whether you are knowledgeable about leathercraft or not, this exhibition offers a closer look at our collection through the eyes of those who work with it every day. Another look back at Northamptonshire

Abington Park Museum - 1 February @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Northamptonshire Film Archive Trust will be presenting a selection of archive film at the Abbington Park Museum in Northampton.  Films include a fascinating look inside the Chronicle & Echo newspaper in the 1950s; shoe making at the John White factory in Rushden, rural crafts in the late 1920s and early 1930s and a Bassett Loake film of Northampton events between 1935 to 1939. Art in the Park

The annual open exhibition is in its 59th year in 2020, having started in 1961. The exhibition is open to all artists in Northamptonshire. Most work featured will also be available for sale. Application forms will be available from Monday 27 January. Closing date for submissions is Sunday 26 April. Free admission.
