The International Waendel Walk Weekend is set to take place from Friday 8 – Sunday 10 May 2020, featuring  improved routes with choices from 5, 10, 15, 25 and 42km for walkers of all ages and abilities. All routes travel across fields, footpaths and roads, whilst visiting places of interest and local villages in and around Wellingborough.

The event is held at Castle Theatre, Wellingborough and a host of free entertainment will be provided during the weekend.

Why not use your opportunity to take part in the Waendel Walk and get out and explore the fantastic scenery and culture in Northamptonshire. As a non- competitive event open to everyone, the walks really are open to all ages.

Every walker who completes their chosen route on Saturday or Sunday will be able to purchase a medal or pin. To qualify for a two day medal you must complete the same distance on both days.

Friday Night Friendship Walks:-

• 5km Black Arrow Route. Start Time 18:15pm and Latest Start Time 19:00pm.
• 10km Yellow Arrow Route. Start Time 18:15pm and Latest Start Time 19:00pm.

Saturday Routes:-

• 5km Waendel Walk (3 miles). Start Time 10:00am and Latest Start Time is 12 Noon.
• 10km Waendel Walk (6 miles). Start Time is 09:30am and Latest Start Time is 12 Noon.
• 15km Waendel Walk (9 miles). Start Time is 09:00am and Latest Start Time is 12 Noon.
• 25km Waendel Walk (16 miles) all road. Start Time is 08:00am and Latest Start Time is 11am.
• 25km Waendel Walk (16 miles) field and track. Start Time is 08:00am and Latest Start Time is 11am.
• 42km Waendel Walk all road route (26 miles). Start Time is 07:00am and Latest Start Time is 09:00am.
• 42km Waendel Walk Field and Track (26 miles). Start Time is 07:00 and Latest Start Time is 09:00am.

Sunday Routes:-

All routes are different on each day, but start and finish from Castle Theatre.
