Nene Park to stay open for new national lockdown

Despite entering another national lockdown, we are pleased that Nene Park will continue to stay open for local residents to visit and enjoy for their daily exercise.

  • The car parks, toilet blocks and play areas remain open.
  • Ferry Meadows café continues to offer a takeaway service.
  • The duty ranger role will be in operation every day
  • The Visitor Centre and Nene Outdoors watersports and actvity centre remain closed.
  • The Lakeside Kitchen & Bar will be closed for the time being.

When visiting the Park, please come alone or with your household or support bubble. When exercising, it is also permitted to do so with one other person outside your household or social bubble. While moving around the Park please maintain social distancing with other members of the public at all times and continue to sanitise your hands where necessary.

Despite the cancellation of activities,  our education team is busy planning some further resources and ideas for families to do while the schools remain closed. Keep your eye on our website https://www.nenepark.org.uk/childrens-activity-resources for further updates on this.

We are hopeful that as we move into the spring we will begin to be able to offer further activities in the Park but until then please be vigilant to keep the Park safe for yourself and others.
