As you may have noticed elsewhere on the blog and on our social media feeds of late, the Nene Valley team are very excited to be working with a range of partners across the region to deliver a range of business support materials to businesses affected by Covid, lockdown and other issues.
A big part of this activity is a new season of our Nene Valley Festival podcast. Over the last few years the podcast has been a big part of the festival with contributions from a range of partners and local businesses helping to bring a flavour of the festival to peoples headphones all over the region.
This year however, with the festival looking very different to previous years, we are back with a special standalone series of the Nene Valley Podcast – focussing less on the festival and our partners, and more on how we a body can help our businesses across the region adjust to their new reality.
We are releasing new episodes of the podcast over the coming weeks (with two episodes already out in feeds) and this week our podcast hosts Karen and Ben sat down for a conversation with James Tenant from the Enterprising East Northamptonshire project for a look at some of the common issues being faced by businesses across the region, as well as some really useful guidance on how businesses can tap into local support and assistance to help them through a difficult time.
Enterprising East Northants are engaged in a number of schemes and projects up and down the region to support our local businesses – not least the opening of the brand new Enterprise Centre in Raunds which has begun to see a number of new tenants moving in to make use of the stunning new built for purpose space – which features a number of units; from small office suites and meetings rooms to workshop and manufacturing space.
You can find out more about the work that Enterprising East Northants are doing to support local businesses by visiting their website, or connecting with them on Social Media.
Be sure to check the podcast out wherever you subscribe – the show is available everywhere from Spotify and Apple Podcasts to Google Play and Castbox – or you could even listen by using the embedded audio player below
In the meantime, please be sure to check back and keep an eye on our social media feeds over the coming weeks for more information.
