Open water swimming is one of the fastest growing sports in the country combining an opportunity to improve fitness with an enjoyment of the outdoors.  Whether you are training for a triathlon or just want to take part in an activity which is sociable as well as good for you, we welcome all swimmers to our regular weekly sessions every Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Swimmers must be registered with NOWCA.  Enjoy your first swim free when you sign up to NOWCA with Nene Outdoors as your home venue! Once you’ve enjoyed your enjoyed your free swim, future sessions can be booked in advance on the link below or you can just turn up on the day.

Swim in the tranquil surroundings of Sywell Country Park. Sessions run every Saturday morning (Starting 23rd April until September) from 08:00 to 11:00. There are three time slots starting at 08:00 / 09:00 / 10:00.

The lake was designed by Capability Brown and is overlooked by Castle Ashby House and the Norman Church of Mary Magdelene, offering you a magical place to swim. Supervised open water swim sessions available seven days a week, throughout the year. Just a five-minute drive from The Falcon Hotel, the 500-metre swim course is fringed by attractive water lilies which adds to the serenity of your swim experience.

Peterborough’s Lido is a great scene for everyone, with 3 heated outdoor pools. Grab yourself a snack from the on-site cafe serving hot and cold food, as well as ice cream and refreshments.

From lane swimming in the 25 metre pool to having fun in the beach area, complete with fun water features, to toddler sessions in the learner pool; there’s something for everyone!
