Join us as the Nene Valley Festival comes to a finale with an epic day at Stanwick Lakes. From 10:30am – 4pm on Sunday 22 September, everyone is welcomed to come and see Viking re-enactors, the Bifrost Guard. You will also be able to join in with Settlers Trails, Archery, Axe Throwing and much, much more – it is set to be a day out not to be missed!

Karen Williams, Tourism Promotions and Development Officer at East Northamptonshire Council explains more:

“Once again the festival has been a success, and this is the perfect finale! We have been running the festival for 6 years and with help from our partners, including Nenescape, this year’s festival has certainly been one to remember.

We are delighted to be hosting the finale at Stanwick Lakes and thoroughly look forward to welcoming the Vikings for this fantastic event.”

Becky Gill, Heritage Manager at Rockingham Forest Trust, Stanwick Lakes said:

“Rockingham Forest Trust and the Settlers project are delighted and very honoured to be asked to host the Nene Valley Festival finale. The team are very excited and preparations for the day are fully underway!”
