Wellingborough Waterside Concept Plan – Take the survey

Nene Valley Catchment Partnership wants your feedback on a new concept plan by the Wellingborough Waterside Working Group.

The Nene Valley Catchment Partnership is a network of authorities, agencies, community organisations and individuals that work to improve the River Nene and its tributaries. The Catchment Partnership is hosted by the River Nene Regional Park. One of the working groups of the partnership has a focus on the Wellingborough Waterside and this group includes representatives from a range of local organisations, including tourism, local authorities and businesses.

This group has produced a concept plan for the Wellingborough Embankment area that seeks to improve the area and recognise it as an important part of Wellingborough’s greenspace and heritage. The plan also brings ideas for connecting it to other places in the Nene Valley.

If you’d like to come and hear more about the plans, and have your say in person, members of the Wellingborough Waterside Working Group will be attending the Swansgate Shopping Centre, Wellingborough from 19 – 21 February to consult with the public, and find out what’s most important to residents, businesses and communities in the catchment area.
