Join Dr Alex Hale, who is Senior Archaeology Researcher at Historic Environment Scotland for an online talk about graffiti and archaeology, running alongside the Urban exhibition at Peterborough Museum.
This talk will explore evidence of people leaving marks and messages across Scotland for thousands of years. From the earliest carvings to contemporary graffiti, the talk considers graffiti from an archaeological perspective.
It discusses a range of creative practices and the different ways people, places and landscapes act as archives of graffiti.
Tickets are ‘pay what you can’ – all donations are gratefully received.
